COMMUNITY GAMES

Well done to all the local children who competed in the County Finals of the Community Games Swimming competition held recently in the Sports Complex. Congratulations to Leanne Galvin, who took home Bronze in the under-12 Backstroke and to Sarah McKeon who also took home bronze in under-14 Freestyle.

The Riverstown Community Games Athletics Finals will take place on Sunday, April 29, in Riverstown Community Park. The day’s events will start with a Fancy dress parade leaving Homeland Store in Riverstown at 1.15 p.m. This will be followed by athletics finals in Community Park at 2 p.m.

RAMBLING HOUSE

Riverstown Comhaltas are holding a Rambling House in the Morrison Teach Ceoil, Riverstown on Saturday, April 14, at 9.30 p.m. Musicians, singers and Dancers welcome. Refreshments will be served. Admission €10 Enquiries to Pádraig Kerins 087 6707329.
