I HEAR YOU & REJOICE

Late in his life, a man called Pat Farnon, a cobbler and all-round contented man, marries the redoubtable Kitsy Rainey who is everything that Pat isn’t. It’s a match made in heaven, in more ways than one. ‘I Hear You and Rejoice’ is an account of one of the most unlikely marriages of all time - “the ups, the downs and the beyond the beyonds.” It follows the previous commission ‘The Man In The Woman’s Shoes’ and comes to the Hawk’s Well this Saturday and Sunday.

QUINN, SEAMIE O’DOWD, JOHN JOE KELLY Seamie O’Dowd, John Joe Kelly and Kieran Quinn have been carefully crafting their own sound for over three years now. Formed with the intention of exploring the links between traditional Irish music and jazz, the group has developed into one of the most innovative and fresh-sounding in Ireland. They come to the Coleman Music Centre on April 14th.
