-

OUR first walk of the Eastern Harps community walking series is this Sunday 15th in union wood at 10am gathering in union wood carpark from 9.30am. The walk will be led by a walking leader at a relaxed pace. All welcome and it is free of charge. At Supervalu roundabout in Ballisodare, take exit signposted Ballygawley/ Ballintogher road (keeping Supervalu on your right) for 2.5k to Union Foods. Car park on your right. Alternatively enter the Eircode F91 HC67 in Google Maps and it’ll give you directions. Our senior men had their game against Tubbercurry moved from last Saturday to Sunday due to an unplayable pitch in Tubbercurry. However, Tubbercurry were unfortunately unable to field a team on Sunday so the game didn’t go ahead. We are due to play St Molaise Gaels in round 3 of the league this Saturday in Gurteen at 6.30pm. We urge all supporters to check our Facebook and twitter pages for any last minute venue changes due to the wet weather. Our junior men had a great result against Tourlestrane winning on a score line of 0:14 to 1:09. They have no game this weekend. Our Senior ladies have their first league game away to Curry on Sunday at 10am. Well done to the U12 girls on their big win over CT Gaels in their first league match of the season. Our U16 boys lost narrowly to St. Marys in their Division 1 game on a score line of 5:10 to 1:18. They are away to St Molaise Gaels on Monday April 16th at 6.30pm. Our Minor boys are at home to Owenmore Gaels Friday at 6.30pm in Keash. Congratulations to Killian Langton on winning a gold medal in the U14 swimming in the Sligo Co. Finals. He will now represent Keash and Sligo in the National Finals. Bingo continues every Friday night at 8.30pm in Gurteen Hall. Jackpot is €1,600 in 45 calls or less. The in house lotto is €800. We would like to extend sympathies to the family and friends of Anna McGowan who passed away recently.
