Ash Lane site set for an overhaul

The County Council intends to carry out a major redevelopment of the Ash Lane Halting site (pictured below).

The work will consist of the refurbishment of the six existing halting bay units along with a new vehicular entrance to the site and access road from the N16.

It is also intended to demolish the caretakers storage unit and proceed with the construction of a new boundary wall within the existing site to facilitate the provision of a separate group housing facility including the building of a five bedroom dormer bungalow and two semi detached two bedroom dormer bungalows .

Plans and full particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection during Council office hours at the Main Foyer, County Hall, Riverside up to Monday, May 14 th.
