New bring banks

Two new bring banks are set to be installed in county Sligo in 2018.

The t wo new banks will be located in Maugheraboy and Ballisodare and will bring the number of banks in Sligo to 42. The bring bank in Maugheraboy will be l ocated in the car park at the Showgrounds, the home of Sligo Rovers.

Director of Ser vices Tom Kilfeather informed councillors of the t wo new banks at l ast Monday’s meeting following a motion from Cllr Chris MacManus seeking information on bring banks within the county.

Councillors widely welcomed the installation of the t wo new bring banks and the continued use of existing facilities within the county. Sligo Rovers FC was also praised for their help in allowing the bank in Maugheraboy be placed within the Showgrounds area.
