A course will run Mondays 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. till Sept/ October 2018. If you would like to learn more about growing your own food using organic principles, this course may suit you. Call the Benwiskin Centre at 071 9176721 if you would like to reserve your place.
TALK AND FIELD TRIP
Michael Bell of Sligo Branch, BirdWatch Ireland, will present an illustrated talk at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, at the Benwiskin Centre on the wonderful wildlife to be found in the Gleniff Horseshoe area. Tea and coffee will be served at the centre and the group can then car pool from the centre to the Gleniff Mill site at the base of the Gleniff Horseshoe drive for the guided field trip. You will need to bring a packed lunch and a flask.
This event is free but a nominal fee is welcome for refreshments. This project is funded under the Local Agenda Environmental Partnership Fund 2017 administered by Sligo County Council.
