Gardaí on Facebook

AN Garda Siochana in Sligo/ Leitrim has set up a Facebook page which went live last Friday.

“The launch of this page is part of our commitment in the 2018 Sligo/Leitrim Policing Plan to establish social media forum(s) for An Garda Síochána within this area. We strive to work hand in hand with all sections of the Community and we will use this Facebook page to share our joint efforts in making communities safer. Please feel free to comment, share or like as you wish. While this forum will not be monitored on a 24 hour basis we will endeavour to respond appropriately,” said Chief Supt Aidan Glacken.
