Under 15 draw produces Connaught Derby

Conor O’Grady’s Sligo Rovers under 15s have been paired with Connacht rivals Galway United in the first round of this year’s National Under 15 Cup.

The Bit O’Red youths will take on the Tribesmen at the Sean Fallon Centre on the week-ending June 3rd with the day and kick-off time yet to be decided.

Meanwhile, Rovers’ under 19 side have been given a bye in to the second round of the Under 19 Enda McGuill Cup.

While Danny O’Leary’s under 17s have also been omitted from the first round of the Under 17 Mark Farren Memorial Cup.

The draws for each competition took place at the FAI’s headquarters in Abbotstown on Wednesday last.
