PHOTO/HISTORY EXHIBITION

The local committee are planning another photo and history exhibition later in the year following on from the huge success of the 2017 event.

All photos relating to the parish from community events, church events, sport, workplace, schools, people, locations etc are all welcome. Anyone, who now lives away from the parish is also welcome to contribute relevant material.

FAMILY FUN DAY

A Family Fun Day will be held on Sunday, May 6, at Moylough Arts and Heritage centre.

8KM EVENT

The annual 8km run, jog, walk in aid of Gallagher House Services, Tubbercurr­y, will take place from Kilmactigu­e Community Centre (beside playground) on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. Registrati­on will be from 6 p.m. on the day or pre – registrati­on can be made before 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, at 071 9120624 or by calling into Gallagher House Garden Centre. Clock timing on the day.

There will be prizes for first, second and third male and female. Refreshmen­ts will be served afterwards in the community centre. Cost per adult is €10. Everyone is welcome and your support will, as always, be greatly appreciate­d.

WALKING/RUNNING TRACK

The newly completed walking/ running track at Nace O’Dowd Park is proving a real success with many folk using it on a daily basis. It is contributi­ng hugely to the health and well-being of our community in a real and sustainabl­e way.

Coolaney-Mullinabre­ena GAA Coaching continues for the under-six, under-eight and under-10 age groups in Coolaney Community Park for the month of April. GAA LOTTO

The Coolaney-Mullinabre­ena GAA 2018 lotto tickets are available now due with the first draw taking place very soon.

This is the principal fundraiser for the day to day running of the club and your continued support is greatly appreciate­d. The jackpot stands at €5,600.

The 25 card game continues every Friday in St Nathy’s Hall at 8.30 p.m. The GAA 25 card drive will take place in a few weeks. Date to be confirmed.

DANCING

Social dancing coninues in St Nathy’s Hall every Monday at 8 p.m. for beginners and 9 p.m. for all others.
