GAA seeks more time for plans

COOLERA Strandhill GAA Club is seeking an extension of planning permission for a new clubhouse at Knocknahur.

The club was granted permission in 2014 for a new two storey clubhouse including changing rooms, referee’s room, first aid room, meeting room, stores. They also got the green light for a new stand and dugouts to their GAA pitch with new fencing at the Club in Seafield, Ballybeg and Ransboro townlands.

The club sought an extension to the planning in April. A decision from county planners is due 3rd June next.
