Yeats County Hockey Club rounds off successful season
YEATS County Hockey Club has their last training session recently after a successful season.
The club travelled to Athlone before Christmas playing in a under 12 Hockey tournament winning all but one game.
Then they travelled recently to Dublin to play in the O’Brien tournament which they have done for many years but this year was special as Yeats County won the trophy beating Muckross 3-2 on the final.
This was a great result for the club which is supported by main sponsor Total Produce.
Training resumes in September for all national school children in Grammar School.
New members are welcome to join for the season.
