SOCCER SUCCESS
Congratulations to Riverstown Community Games Indoor Soccer team who won the Connacht Finals on Saturday, April 21. The team consisted of Jack Brehony, Oisin Conlon, Owen Elding, Ruairi Kelly, Troy Kelly, Niall Kenny, Darragh McKeon and Jack Tuohy. Well also to the coach Johnny Kenny. The team will now go on to compete in the national finals in Limerick.
SEAN NÓS DANCING
Classes for children wishing to learn sean nós dancing with Eimear Mulvey are taking place in the Morrison Cottage, Riverstown every Sunday. Beginners 11.30 a.m. to midday, Intermediate 12 to 12.30 p.m. New comers are always welcomed. For more information call 086 2584465.
LIBRARY
Dromahair Library invite everyone to come and celebrate the importance of families reading together and sharing stories, Spring into Story-Time is a national initiative running in public libraries. Public library services around the country are championing their children’s story-time sessions and are inviting children and their parents/carers to join in and experience the joy of lots of exciting tales. Please come along on Tuesday, May 8, at 2.30 p.m. (Sessions are free of charge).
Dromahair Library Opening Hours are Tuesdays 12.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays 2.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Closed for break 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. each day.
