Lunchtime theatre

Following on from their successful adult acting programme Sligo Acts, the Hawk’s Well Theatre will be presenting a series of summer lunchtime theatre episodes of the old time radio sitcom favourite, Easy Aces.

Written by Goodman Ace and set in 1940s America, Ace and his wife Jane play an exaggerated version of themselves, with a light-hearted poke at Jane’s habit of getting ever y thing just a lit tle bit wrong! Witty, light and small enough to fit into the average lunch break, this celebration of the golden age of radio is scheduled to take place at 12.45pm on three dates over the summer; May 16th, June 27th and July 25th. Lunch will be available in the theatre foyer from 12.15pm and each performance is t ypically fort y-fi ve minutes l ong.
