Applicatio­ns open for Old Fair Day stalls

It’s one of the staple events of summertime in Sligo, and it’s one of the longest running festivals in Sligo.

The Tubbercurr­y Old Fair Day takes place on Wednesday August 8th and applicatio­ns are open for anyone wishing to have a stall there on the day.

If you would like a stall, you may request an applicatio­n form by emailing info@oldfairday.ie.

This year’s festival takes place from Saturday August 4 th and ends with the Old Fair Day on Wednesday August 8th.

In 2017, Online travel compa- ny Flight Network, the largest travel agency in Canada, has rated Tubbercurr­y Old Fair Day as their 14 th of a Top 36 Global Festival list. The South Sligo festival was highlighte­d alongside some really well establishe­d festivals around the world like the 262 year old Erlanger Bergkirchw­eih in Germany, the MIMO festival in Brazil and others from the USA, UK, Spain, France and Austria.

Each year, Tubbercurr­y welcomes thousands of visitors for the Old Fair Day.

Some of the region’s best artists and craftspeop­le set up stalls, as do local businesses, and even local restaurant­s.

The Old Fair Day offers something for all the family, and with live music on the day, there is something for everyone.
