well and get the job done,” he added.

He said the Sligo game plan worked with everybody carrying out the role assigned to them.

“We were saying to the boys at half time that it was not over yet and to keep plugging away. Probably London were revved up a wee bit coming out and we were slow to start but we were glad to see that first point in the second half go over the bar to get our momentum back.”

Corey said it was a big day for the Carrabine brothers adding that Sean’s focus was totally on the match.

“I think he was only on the field a few seconds when he scored a point. Sean’s a brilliant player and he is going to have some future for Sligo he is going to be some player for them.”

Corey admitted he didn’t think the London blackcards didn’t had that big of an impact on the game. “You can look back and analyse all them wee things but I just think on the day we were just professional, we stuck with what we had to do and we did the job well. “I’m very proud of them surely.” Next up is the winners of Mayo and Galway but Corey said they were not thinking about that until after the final whistle in Ruislip.

“As I said all along and sometimes people don’t believe you but we never looked one second past the throw in today and we know that game is on this weekend but we will sit down now on Tuesday night and we will chat about what we want to do and get back to the work again,” he added.
