Eimear Connolly came fourth in the 100m and also qualified and Elizabeth Tighe came first in the high jump and came second in the hurdles. As part of the efforts towards the application, the Amber Flag committee created an amber flag noticeboard displaying positive quotes in the school. Meetings were held to organise a non-uniform day and all students were asked to wear orange to raise awarenss on April 27. Well done all (photo attached).

Congratulations to Aoife Loughlin, Casey Cullen and Aoibhe Carty (Transition Year) also known as ACA who represented the school in the all-Ireland Senior Student Enterprise finals in Croke Park on May 2. The girls were unsuccessful this time, but their project, a handbook to encourage numeracy and literacy with exercises suitable for Junior Cycle students catering for all Junior Cycle subjects, garnered a lot of interest on the day. (Casey and her teacher Yvonne Carty are pictured in the attached).

Congratulations to Coláiste Muire’s girls’ Table-Tennis team who achieved third in Ireland in the all-Ireland Table Tennis final on April 26. This is a progression from winning the Connacht Final in Kiltimagh in March.
