DARKNESS INTO LIGHT

The Darkness Into Light Walk takes place from Banada Abbey next Saturday, May 12, starting at 4.15 a.m. Pre-registration takes place at the Tubbercurry Social Welfare Office all next week and at SuperValu, Tubbercurry, next Thursday, May 10, from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Sympathy is extended on the recent death of Peter Gallagher, Tourlestrane, to his family, neighbours and friends. May his soul rest in peace.

OPEN DAY

The annual open day at the Garden Centre, Gallagher House, Tubbercurry is taking place on Thursday, May 10, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Large selection of bedding plants, shrubs etc., available for purchase. Hanging baskets and window boxes made to order. Refreshments served. All are very welcome and your support is greatly appreciated.

ADULT GUIDANCE

There will be a free workshop called Sligo Adult Guidance in Education for early school leavers and adults in North Connaught Tubbercurry from May 29 to May 31, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. This is a free workshop for anyone who is seeking advice about going back to education or wants to upskill or find out how to apply for an apprenticeship or training and more.

FILM NIGHT

Film Night at Ox Mountain Heritage Centre, Aclare, will be on Friday, May 18, 7 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. instead of May 11, as this would otherwise conflict with the Darkness into Light event.

IRISH SUMMER COURSES

Irish summer courses will take place in Banada during the summer junior cert course will take place July 23 to July 27 and Leaving cert course will take place July 30 to August 3. Call or text Siobhán for further details at 087 4510572.

REAL TUBBER EGM

Real Tubber FC are holding an EGM in St Brigid’s Hall Tubbercurry on Monday, May 14, at 9 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to elect a committee of officers. The club invites all members, parents and coaches to attend and to have their say on how the club will be run.

BANADA BINGO
