Grange set to host annual motor show
GRANGE will host its fifth annual Benbulben Motor Show this Bank Holiday Sunday, June 3rd. Last year’s show included a large range of custom classics; vintage motorbikes, trucks & tractors; military vehicles and many supercars including McLaren, Maserati, Ferrari and Porsche. Some were lucky enough to see a flyover display by a light aircraft.
This year’s event will follow the same theme, bringing together a wide variety of interesting vehicles from every era and from every corner of the country. The brand new Focus RS plus Ireland’s first sold righthand drive Mustang are due to make an appearance along with an extensive range of vehicles similar to last year.
There will be food and light refreshments and entertainment including a bouncy castle and rodeo for the kids. The event is held on a flat tarmac surface so it’s suitable for all exhibitors and spectators to enjoy.
At 3pm there will be a scenic run for Mullaghmore and Gleniff Horseshoe.
Last year €3,000 was collected which was shared between the Grange Armada Development Association and the RNLI.
MOney raised this year will go exclusively to The Grange Armada Development Association who are working hard to establish a tourist hub for the North West region where an Interpretive Centre for the Spanish Armada of 1588 is being developed at the old Courthouse building. See www.fb.me/BenMotorShow
