MCR win Premier League
MCR are the Andrew Mullen Premier League Champions they clinched the title in fine style away to a gallant Real Tubber.
Paul Flanagan, Ciaran Harvey and Keith Nibbs each scored once with Hayden Cawley bagging a brace while Sean Carnahan and Eoin Walsh netted for Real Tubber. MCR had a tremendous season losing once against Merville United by the odd goal in five on the 28th January.
They never looked back and are now promoted in style to the Super League.
Merville Utd hosted North Sligo Rivals Cliffoney Celtic in a hotly contested encounter at Maugheraboy Merville got a valuable point in a two all draw courtesy of two penalty’s both dispatched by Ryan Mc Manus.
