Cancer Care West will hold a church gate collection on May 19 and 20; all funds raised will go towards Inis Aoibhinn a residential facility which provides residential care for people receiving radiotherapy treatment in University Hospital Galway, your support is greatly appreciated.

VOLUNTEERING EVENT
‘Volunteering Builds Better Communities: Come along to a special event for National Volunteering Week 2018 in the Ballymote Family Resource Centre on Wednesday, May 16, from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. where we will be bringing together people who wish to get involved in their community with local groups who need volunteers. It will be an informal evening with refreshments available. Enjoy a cup of tea and cake while hearing about the work of these fantastic groups and how you can get involved. There was no winner of the Ballymote lotto jackpot on May 5. Numbers drawn were 12, 15, 16 and 17. There was one matchthree winner, name of winner displayed locally. The jackpot now stands at €3,600. The next draw will take place in Hayden’s on Saturday, May 26, Ballymote Community lotto supports Gaelic, Soccer and Handball Clubs, Loftus Hall and Ballymote Community Parks.
