VOLUNTEERI­NG EVENT

‘Volunteeri­ng Builds Better Communitie­s: Come along to a special event for National Volunteeri­ng Week 2018 in the Ballymote Family Resource Centre on Wednesday, May 16, from 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m. where we will be bringing together people who wish to get involved in their community with local groups who need volunteers. It will be an informal evening with refreshmen­ts available. Enjoy a cup of tea and cake while hearing about the work of these fantastic groups and how you can get involved. LOTTO

There was no winner of the Ballymote lotto jackpot on May 5. Numbers drawn were 12, 15, 16 and 17. There was one matchthree winner, name of winner displayed locally. The jackpot now stands at €3,600. The next draw will take place in Hayden’s on Saturday, May 26, Ballymote Community lotto supports Gaelic, Soccer and Handball Clubs, Loftus Hall and Ballymote Community Parks.
