Award for Markree interior architect

At a special ceremony held in Croke Park, the interior architect responsible for overseeing the recent conser vation, restoration, design, mechanical & electrical elements and construction of the Markree Castle in Sligo, Audrey Gaffney, Audrey Gaffney Associates, was announced the All-Star Female Led Business for 2018. The award was made at the All-Ir eland Business Summit on Thursday April 19th in front of a 1,000-strong audience from all 32 counties. Audrey heads an interior architecture and project management business that she set up in 2008 providing interior architectural design solutions for the commercial sectors. She has won many awards for her work including winner of the ‘Best Luxur y Hospitalit y Project’ in 2018 for her work on Cabra Castle & Cottages in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. Audrey’s company is also currently shortlisted for the International Hotel & Property Award 2018 for their interior architectural design and project management of the Markree Castle in Sligo.
