Halting site at Ash Lane

THE first stage of providing a 6-bay halting site and three group housing units at Glenview, Ash Lane has been reached.

The Council has received approval from the Government for their Capital Appraisal Submissions and discussions are taking place with the families.

Councillor Declan Bree queried if the halting site had been approved by the Local Traveller Accommodation Consultative Committee. Cllr Martin Baker said traveller families were talking to other councillors and it “hasn’t been ignored.”
