Go Games blitzes sees more than 1300 children take part

THERE were more than 1300 children involved last week in 3rd/4th class Go Games blitzes in 9 venues throughout the county. Liam Óg Gormley, Sligo GAA Games Manager, said: “Thanks to staff of Pat Kilcoyne, Ross Donovan, Benny Kenny, Aaron Breslin and Ciaran O’Connor for managing venues. Big thank you to all the schools who took part and the Transition Year students from St Attracta’s CS, Ursuline College, Coola PPS, Jesus and Mary Secondary School Enniscrone, St Mary’s College Ballysadar­e, Colaiste Muire Ballymote and Summerhill College who helped referee over the week.” Schools are being advised to register online for Cúl Camps before June 1st and kit will be delivered to school. www.gaa.ie/kelloggscu­lcamps
