FAMILY FUNDAY

Oxfield will be holding its annual Family Funday on Bank Holiday Monday, June 4, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attraction­s on the day include the Bouncy Castle Arena, Scruffy Duffy Disco Show, Custard Pie Puppet Show and many more. Admission is only €5 each or max €20 per family.

BENBULBEN CLIMB

The annual Benbulben Climb for the Sligo Cancer Support Centre will take place on Saturday, June 16. Climbers to meet at Rathcormac National School at 11 a.m.

BEACH CLEAN

There will be a beach clean at Lissadell Beach, environs and approach road on Thursday, June 7, at 7 p.m. Bags etc. will all be provided.

CARNEY TIDY TOWNS

Carney Tidy Towns are one of the lucky six groups to receive a biodiversi­ty action plan – all will be revealed on Wednesday, June 23, in the Sligo Park Hotel at 6.45 p.m., open for all to attend.

Just a reminder if anyone sees anything suspicious please phone the Gardaí at 071 9157000 and they will deal with it (and decide if message needs to be sent to all) Please keep an eye on neighbours living on their own and keep all property locked at all times.

SEAN NÓS

Sean nós dance classes continue every Tuesday evening in Rathcormac NS Beginners start at 6.30 p.m., with improvers and advanced dancers starting at 7.30 p.m. All very welcome. Call 086 1925988 for further details.

LOOSE CHANGE

Put all your loose change to good use and drop if off to Drumcliffe Tea House. The Carney La- dies fundraisin­g group will count it all and your donations will go towards the Acquired Brain Injury Support Group in Sligo. ‘No coin too small we will count it all’.
