Rosses Point slipway hazardous

THE slipway onto the second beach at Rosses Point is to be inspected over the coming weeks after Councillor Marie Casserly asked the Council to address the steep drop onto the beach.

She told the meeting it can be hazardous for parents with buggies, older people and those with disabilities.

The inspection will establish the extent of works required in order to address safety concerns at the slipway.
