Women’s 5k Series in Tubbercurry
THE second event in the Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership SuperValu Womens 5K Series was hosted by South Sligo AC.
With great weather and sunshine over one hundred runners of all fitness levels took part.
The next event in the Series will be hosted this evening in IT Sligo hosted by Calry Athletic Club.
Please note registration for the event will take place at the IT Sligo from 6.30pm onwards with the run starting at 7.30pm.
Newcomers are welcome to join in the Series. The Series continues this evening, May 29th in IT Sligo while it then takes a break for a week as the Women’s Mini Marathon is on in Dublin.
The 4th Series travels to Skreen on June 12th hosted by Tireragh AC.
The following week sees the Series take place in Ballymote on June 19th run by Corran AC.
The Series finishes up on June 26th in Grange hosted by North Sligo AC.
