Ardkeeran NS in the National final tomorrow

THE Aviva Stadium beckons tomorrow for Ardkeeran NS in the SPAR FAI Primary Schools 5s National Final.

The Riverstown school are representi­ng Connacht in the Spar A Cup small schools final, the other teams are Clonlisk NS, Offaly (Leinster), Trafrask NS, Beara, Cork (Munster) and Latnamard NS, Monaghan (Ulster).

Also taking part in the finals is St Teresa’s NS Corrigeenr­oe who are representi­ng Connacht in the Spar A Girls Cup.

This year the programme featured 1,528 schools with a total of 31,728 children participat­ing which is a new record for the programme which has been in existence since the mid-1990s. The day promises to be fun filled and action packed as the future starlets entertain the crowds in the Aviva as the final curtain comes down on the SPAR FAI Primary School 5s programme for 2018. The event will be a family fun day focusing on providing participan­ts and spectators alike with huge excitement and entertainm­ent, making it a day to remember for all involved. .
