US company to create 40 new sales centre jobs over five years

40 new jobs have been announced by Internatio­nal Retail Solutions company ‘E3 Retail’ who are opening a Software Developmen­t and Sales Centre in Sligo town.

The five-year IDA Ireland-supported project will develop its cloud retail solutions platform and create 40 jobs over five years - the first five jobs are already being advertised, including key roles such as Technical Director, Marketing & a new software developmen­t team.

The company will initially locate in the Innovation Centre in Sligo IT.

E3 Retail is a privately held company with offices in Raleigh, North Carolina, San Diego, California and New Delhi, India.

E3 Retail chief operating officer and co-founder Barry Henderson said the firm appreciate­d the “wonderful community spirit alive in Sligo: “We are both honoured and excited to create a new centre in Sligo. We look forward to expanding our global technology team, as we concurrent­ly look to expand our product offerings and consulting services into Europe.”
