RIVERSTOWN TIDY TOWNS

Judging commenced on the first day of June and continues through July and August. We want to thank all those who took part in the May clean-up. It was sad to see the amount of litter collected on our entrance roads. The grass has been cut on all the roads into the village.

The village is starting to look well in the fine weather with many of the village streets swept and looking neat, it is hoped the remainder will be cleaned up in the next few days. We hope over the coming days to freshen up walls and fences and to address derelict buildings.

We are requesting every household to freshen up their paintwork and remove weeds especially dead weeds from near their premises. When the work is complete it will leave our village a place to be admired by the visitor and a place we can enjoy and be proud of during the summer.
