Quirky glamping village can become flagship project
SLIGO County Council have backed a motion submitted by Independent Councillor Joe Queenan to contact Fáilte Ireland in relation to supporting the Quirky Glamping Village project in Enniscrone.
Cllr Queenan said the site, which is under construction, could be a become a ‘flagship project’ under Fáilte Ireland.
He said the park, which is the brainchild of local businessman David McGowan, is only likely to be developed “with the help of Fáilte Ireland”.
Director of Services Dorothy Clarke agreed, saying the business could be a “significant contributor” to the local economy.
