Cairde Arts Festival celebrates its 10th year

Excitement is building for this year’s Cairde Sligo Arts Festival in July with a bumper line-up of music, arts, food, crafts and more.

Now a decade old, the Festival is set to embark on an ambitious three-year strategy which will see major growth across programmin­g, promotion and production.

Organisers are delighted to announce a major new addition to the Festival in 2018; a Big Top tent will move into Stephens Street Carpark for the Festival weekend, with a specially selected programme of events throughout the day and night.

The Line-up for The Big Top is as follows:

Thursday July 12th

Lulu’s World, Stephen St. Car Park – 1.30pm. Free

One World Kid’s Disco with DJ Will Softly, 2pm. Tickets €5 / parents go Free

Family Concert with MOXIE, 6pm. Tickets €12 / U. 18’s €6 / Family 4 € 30 Friday July 13th

Circus Workshops for Children age812, 11.30 am to 1pm. Tickets € 8

Lulu’s World, Stephen St. Car Park – 1.30pm. Free

Tumble Circus Unsuitable, 6pm Tickets €12 / Children €6 / Family of 4 € 30

Comedy with Karl Spain, Danny O’Brien, Eve Darcy, 9pm. Tickets €14 (For ages 16+)

Saturday July 14th
