After the event, refreshmen­ts will be served at Lola Montez, which along with Amcor is part sponsor of the annual Streets of Sligo 5km.

Eoghan Sweeney, General Manager of Dairy Ingredient­s and Consumer Foods for Aurivo, said: “The Streets of Sligo 5K Run is the perfect fit for our sports nutrition range, which helps energise, repair and rebuild muscles after exercise. We are delighted to continue our relationsh­ip with Sligo Athletics Club and we would encourage people to sign up soon to take part in the event on the 4th August.”

“We want to encourage more people to get involved and this event is the perfect opportunit­y for all runners and walkers alike.

“We are looking forward to having the For Goodness Shakes team on-site at our 2018 event and are confident that the protein recovery products will help fatigue, muscle stiffness and soreness after the participan­ts cross the finish line,” Terry added.
