BUS TOURS
Easkey Community Council are organising bus tours around the area on Saturdays commencing Saturday, June 30, and every Saturday for July and August.
The tour will take you along the Wild Atlantic Way and include many Historical Sites of interest in Easkey, Enniscrone and Dromore West.
Tour departs at 2 p.m. from the community centre and returns at 4 p.m. for refreshments. Booking is essential at 09649020 or email easkeyhouse@yahoo.com.
BLOOD DONATION CLINIC
Irish Blood Transfusion Services are holding a Blood Donation evening in Skreen-Dromard community centre on June 28 between 5 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Please come out and support this vital service and help make this a regular clinic.
WELLBEING DAY
Tireragh community Support Ltd will hold a Wellbeing Day at Kilglass House and Woodland on Saturday, July 14, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. This will be a fun day for all ages with yoga, homeopathy, acupuncture, grow your own organic vegetable garden and lots more.
TERESA BOLAND R.I.P.
The death has taken place of Teresa Boland, Aughnasheelin, Co Leitrim and formerly of Carrenrod, Easkey. Burial and funeral Mass took place in Aughnasheelin. Sympathy is extended to her relatives in Carrenrod and Rathlee. She was a teacher in St Joseph’s National School in Templeboy for many years till her retirement in 1993.
VEHICLE DRIVE
A vehicle drive will take place on Sunday, July 8, at 3 p.m. in support of Jonathon Higgins Go Fund Me. The drive will start in Easkey village and all vehicles welcome.
SOCIAL DANCE
The monthly social dance takes place in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on Saturday, June 30, from 10 p.m. Music by Glen Flynn.
SUMMER CAMP
A fun summer camp will be held in Dromore West Community Centre from July 24 to July 26 for children ages 6-12 years. Free to attend. As spaces are limited contact Enniscrone FRC at 096 37444 to book a place.

Aughris Swim Safety and Rescue Water Safety week takes place Sunday, July 22 to Friday 27.
FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
Róisín Moyles from West Sli- go Family Resource Centre is attending the Community Council meeting in Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on July 10 at 9 p.m., to promote the work that the FRS do and how they can support children, families and community groups in the area. All club delegates and member of the public are asked to attend.
SOCCER CAMP
Seán Davis’ four-day outdoor summer Fun Soccer Camp Academy takes place at Skreen-Dromard Community Centre from Monday, July23 to Thursday, July 26, for boys and girls. Cost €55.
