SOCIAL DANCE
The June Social Dance will take place in the community centre Skreen on Saturday, June 30, music will be supplied by Glen Flynn and everyone welcome to come along and enjoy this social event.
LOCAL CEMETERY PLOT COST
The following are the revised costs of burial plots in Dromard New Cemetery and St Mary’s Cemetery Skreen Single Plot will now cost €200. Double Plot cost €400 and Triple Plot cost will be €600.
COMMUNITY CENTRE
Róisín Moyles from the West Sligo Family Resource Centre will attend the Community Council meeting in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on July 10 at 9 p.m. She will be promoting the work that the FRS do and how the FRS can support Children Families and Community Groups in the area. All club delegates are asked to attend and members of the public are also very welcome.
SOCCER CAMP
The Seán Davis four-day outdoor summer Fun Soccer Camp Academy takes place at Skreen-Dromard Community Centre from Monday, July 23, to Thursday, July 26, 26th for boys and girls. The camp cost is €55 per child. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. SUMMER CAMP
The Skreen-Dromard Community Centre is running a summer camp for Children aged five to 12 years from Monday, July 16, to Wednesday, July 18, The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. BLOOD DONOR CLINIC
St Patrick’s GAA are running a Blood Transfusion Clinic in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on June 28 from 5.00 p.m. to 8 p.m. You are asked to please come along and support this vital service.
BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET
Beltra Country Market on Saturday, June 30, will host a Children’s Jewellery Workshop with Maria in Beltra Hall from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. All children welcome.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Lauren Cadden Holly Davis and Ciara Mooney on their winning Gold Medals in the Senior Girls Relay and to Lauren Cadden on winning a Silver Medal in the 200m and to Shane Mooney on coming fifth in Hurdles. They were taking part in the all-Ireland Schools and Colleges Finals in Tullamore recently.
