Guns or Roses

-

Guns or Roses come to Teach Murray, Gurteen, on August 3rd. They were formed in 2009, by John Sumbler Lead guitar and Padraig Tansey Drums. The band began extensive rehearsals to l aunch themselves as the most musically accurate tribute to the Holly wood hellraisers. Nine years on, they are the only UK GnR tribute to have maintained a fi xed lineup of members.

Since their concept, the band have gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences and gaining thousands of fans with their performances all over the UK, Ireland and Europe, including festivals in Nor way, Switzerland, Belgium and Bulgaria. Recently they have appeared at The Isle Of Wight festival, and have even headlined a festival at Donington, home of the infamous Monsters of Rock! Their biggest audience came in 2015 when the band appeared in an episode of ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’ on BBC One as the main focus of a wedding. The episode aired to 3.2 million people, making it the highest ever watched episode at the time.

The band are able to offer both an ‘Appetite for Destruction’- era 5-piece lineup or with the addition of their keyboard player, a full 6-piece band to replicate the early 90’s ‘Use Your Illusion’ tour.

These different lineups allow them to cater to any venue or event from small bars and clubs through to the biggest stages at theatres and festivals.

Guns or Roses are widely regarded as the most authentic sounding tribute in the UK and can even boast the ver y same guitar rig as Slash himself.

With signature equipment and custom made costumes, the band adopt the sound, l ook and attitude of the original LA legends. A force to be reckoned with, Guns or Roses have to be seen to be believed.
