Man stole two iphones from shop

A man has pleaded guilty at Sligo Circuit Criminal Court to stealing two iphones from a shop on Wine Street.

Martin Muntean (23) of Warren Grove, Boyle, appeared before Judge Keenan Johnson on Monday 25 th June where he admitted to stealing two rose gold iphones from Jingle Jangle shop on Wine Street, the property of Ms Elaine Mulligan on 2nd October 2017.

Defence barrister Mr Keith O’Grady BL, instructed by Mr Eddie Henry solicitor, said this was a ‘common design’ case and involved a third party.

Judge Johnson remanded Muntean on continuing bail to 6 th November for the preparation of a Probation Report and Victim Impact Statement.
