Harrison is selected for Irish team
LOCAL showjumper Cian Harrison has been picked for the Irish team for the upcoming European Junior Championships which are taking place in France from July 8th to 15th.
The event is being held in Fontainebleau in France with some of the top showjumpers from across Europe competing.
Cian, 18, from Ballincar, has just completed his Leaving Cert in Summerhill College.
There are 5 showjumpers on the Irish team and Cian was also picked to the Europeans last year.
The Ballincar native has been making waves in Ireland for many years, having represented Ireland since he was just 10 years old.
He was named leading U25 Young Rider at the RDS Horse Show in 2017.
