MEMORIAL CUP MATCH

A charity football match for the Paschal Duignan Memorial Cup will take place on Saturday, July 7, at 3 p.m. in Riverstown Community Park. Proceeds of this charity match will go to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

GOLD FOR RIVERSTOWN

Well done to all the children who represented Riverstown Community Games at the County Finals held recently at Sligo IT. As always a number of children qualified for the finals on the Sunday. Congratulations to the following children who took home medals: Dylan McKenna took gold in the under-14 Long Jump, Alice Foley took Gold in the under-eight 80m, Kate Gillogley took silver in the under-six 60m and Aaron McKenna got silver in the under-16 100m. Dylan and Alice with now go on to represent Sligo in Limerick at the national finals.

AGRICULTURAL SHOW

The 2018 Agricultural Show will be held on Saturday, July 21, in Riverstown Community Park and printed Schedules are now available.

JAMES KILBANE

A James Kilbane, Country and Gospel singer, concert will take place in Taunagh Parish Church on Saturday, August 18, at 8 p.m. Tickets to this event are on sale now for €15.
