Leitrim County Council are very pleased to announce that, once again, their guest judge is Éanna Ní Lamhna, the renowned biologist, environmental consultant, radio and television present- er, author and educator.

The judging criteria for the category we are involved in (The Cleaner and Greener Award) are as follows: Voluntary community effort – 25%; Litter control and tidiness – 15%; Landscaping/ weed control/biodiversity – 15%; Sustainable waste and resources – 15%; Endeavour (improvement over 12 months) – 20%; Overall impression – 10%.

Let’s all continue the good work, which is very evident around the local area and be sure to do our bit to give the best of impressions on July 18.
