CEMETERY MASS
The annual Mass for all buried in Dromard Cemetery will take place on Saturday, July 7, at 8 p.m. in the cemetery – weather permitting.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Well done to all the participants who represented the Skreen-Dromard area in the County Sligo Finals recently. Congratulations to Danny Woodrow, who won Gold in the under-12 100 metres; to Amy Boland on her win of Gold in the 100 metres; to Amy Boland Ella Boland Jane Bradley Muirinn Gaffney Jane Tempany and Sadbh Williams on their win of Gold in the under-14 Relay; to Mark Bradley Darragh Finnegan Rhys Mahon Mark Tempany Rowan Vereker and Danny Woodrow on their win of Silver in the under-12 Relay.
BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET
Beltra Country Market is on Saturday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. will host a Children’s Singing Workshop with Catherine McGlinchey. Everyone welcome.
RÓISÍN MOYLES TALK
Róisín Moyles from the West Sligo Family Resource Centre will attend the Community Council meeting in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on July 10 at 9 p.m.
Róisín will be promoting the work that the FRS do and how the FRS can support children and their families and Community Groups in the area. All club delegates are asked to attend and members of the public are also very welcome.
SUMMER CAMP
The Skreen-Dromard Community Centre is running a summer camp for Children aged five to 12 years from Monday, July 16, to Wednesday, July 18, The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. SOCCER CAMP
The Seán Davis four-day outdoor summer Fun Soccer Camp Academy takes place at Skreen-Dromard Community Centre from Monday, July 23, to Thursday, July 26, 26th for boys and girls. The camp cost is €55 per child. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. FUNDRAISER
The Skreen-Dromard Community Centre Fuel Raffle tickets are now on sale in local shops and at the community centre. The cost is €5 per ticket or three tickets for €10. The prizes include a 13 by seven foot trailer of Firewood 500 litres of Kerosene Twenty bags of Smokeless Coal and lots more. The office in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre is open to the public offering typing photocopying email CV preparation and more for a reasonable fee.
