California feetwarmers

As part of the Cairde Arts Festival and in association with the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Grammy-nominated band The California Feetwarmers return to Sligo on Wednesday 11th of July. Masters of ragtime, Dixieland blues and early swing, this Los Angeles based seven-piece are renowned for an earthy depth of character that sets them apart from others who have followed that throwback path to New Orleans, circa 1920.

Their boisterous on-stage antics are solidly underpinned by playing that is as close to the source as it can be. Recognised as one of the hottest bands playing out of one of America’s steamiest States, The California Feetwarmers return to Europe for appearances at a string of summer festivals.
