Lannon Pharmacy continuesto grow from strength to strength
In 2006, Enda Lannon commenced his Pharmacy Business in a small premises on the Main Street in Ballisodare. Himself a native of Ballisodare, he worked there full time and had one shop assistant employed, Ann Flatley. Ann has being a permanent member of the pharmacy team ever since. Such was the great support and encouragement he got from the local Ballisodare community that he needed to relocate to a larger purpose built premises in the newly developed Ballisodare Town Centre in 2010 where he continues to serve the local community with a greatly increased staff. This is a very convenient location with excellent free parking facilities beside SuperValue, Ballisodare Post Office and the Avena Leisure Centre.
Since he started he has expanded his Pharmacy Business to serve other communities in County Sligo and in 2008 he opened “Gurteen Pharmacy” having heard, and listened to, the needs of the local community. In 2016 he relocated to a state of art pharmacy in the former McGovern’s much loved drapery shop. This establishment was totally gutted and refurbished to the highest standard to offer the local community the best possible pharmacy facilities.
As the years progressed Enda realised that Sligo Town and its environs lacked a pharmacy that served the community outside the normal trading hours and he decided to open “Lannon Late Night Pharmacy” at Canning’s House & Garden in Carraroe. The Pharmacy is opened seven days a week, Monday – Saturday (8a.m. – 8p.m.) and Sunday (10a.m. – 6p.m.) much to the delight and appreciation of the local community.
Since 2006 Enda has expanded his business supported by local communities. Enda Lannon Pharmacies have always and continue to be customer/patient focused with a huge emphasis on improving the health and wellness of all our customers and patients. From an employee cohort of two at the outset Enda now employs twenty two people who are mostly locally based. With continued local support it is hoped that the service provided by Lannon Pharmacies will continue to thrive and improve going forward. Enda and all the staff at Lannons look forward to looking after the pharmacy and health needs of all their loyal customers and look forward to meeting many new customers.
