ST Molaise Gaels U16 Boys won the club’s first ever U16 Boys A League title as the North Sligo side defeated an overwhelmed St Mary’s at Scarden on Tuesday.

Shane Towey, Michael Langan and Jack Davitt all contributed handsomely to the scoreboard.
Gaels led by 2-10 to 0-02 at the interval.
St Mary’s would have hoped to make a strong start to the second half but Gaels excellent defence superbly marshalled by Joe Keaney at centre half back withstood whatever pressure there was.
The winners were comfortably in control for the remainder of the game.
Substitute Daniel O’Connor scored a brilliant third goal for Gaels in the 53rd minute.
Co Board Development Officer Padraig Clancy presented the Cup to Gaels captain Ryan Gallagher.
