Aurivo’s leads its neighbouri­ng Co-Ops on milk price for four of the past five years

2017 - a very good year for milk price Nationally, Aurivo moves up three places in KPMG’s annual milk price review

Following the publicatio­n of the KPMG / Irish Farmers journal annual milk price review, Aurivo is pleased to confirm that at an average price of 35.29c/l in 2017, the Co- Operative has lead neighbouri­ng Co- Ops, Lakeland, Arrabawn and LacPatrick for four of the past five years on milk price. As per the annual milk price review, milk processors across the country were ranked on average manufactur­ing milk price paid for the year ended 31 December 2017 (c/litre after deduction of collection charges and levies).

On a national basis, Aurivo moved up three places to 8th for milk price. When one looks at the measure of milk performanc­e and when compared in cent per litre with euro per kilo milk solids, Aurivo moves up another three places from its position nationally to 5 th.

“While outside of the annual milk price review, it is also positive to point out that Aurivo continued to pay a leading price nationally for liquid milk in 2017.”
