Feighan seeks consideration

Former TD Frank Feighan says he will be writing to Fine Gael’s national executive seeking to put his name forward as a possible third candidate if the party sees fit to add another name to the ticket.

The party selected two candidates at its Sligo/Leitrim selection convention last Thursday night to contest the next General Election.
