Call to remove fencing at Maugheraboy

Sligo County Council has undertaken to carr y out an inspection of the all weather playing area in Maugheraboy where a councillor wants old fencing to be removed.

Clr Chris MacManus said the fencing had become an eyesore.

In a report, Senior Executive Engineer, Brian Flynn said the council would inspect the area over the coming weeks and carr y out works required to improve the visual presentation of the area.
