Cutting bushes

Irish Rail will be asked to cut bushes along the railway line near Maugheraboy estate. Councillor Chris MacManus said there was heav y overgrowth along the line at the boundar y fence between Irish Rail propert y and the housing estate.

The council is to write to Irish Rail to rquest that it carries out “much needed maintenance works along the railway line.” Cllr Rosaleen O’Grady said it was a huge issue for residents in the area.
