Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival ranked one of the top festivals worldwide

Chairman of the Old Fair Day Festival, Sean Mc Donagh was high in his praise of all the people who in any way make the 5 day festival one of the best, not just Nationally but Internationally.

He paid a special tribute to the many sponsors, without whom the festival could not continue. He said that he could not stress the important part the local business people paid in keeping the festival alive.

He thanked all the local people who bring along their prize winning animals for people to view and the high and expanding number of vintage cars, tractors and machinery on display.

He said the festival is one where new and old friends alike can meet and savour the hospitality the town of Tubbercurry has to offer.

The Old Fair Day attracts upwards of 15,000 people to the town for what promises to be a wonderful day of fun and games.
