Ndo en­ters team in Sligo Leitrim league

THE 1st meet­ing of clubs for the new 2018/2019 ju­nior soc­cer sea­son was held on Thurs­day night 26th July at the Sligo South­ern Ho­tel.

A full house in­sured a most re­ward­ing meet­ing that in­cluded all the de­tails of the com­ing sea­son from ref­er­ees, to fa­cil­i­ties, league for­mat, in­sur­ance, pub­lic li­a­bil­i­ties, first aid kits, play­ers’ reg­is­tra­tion, GDPR, club mem­ber­ship, en­trants to Con­nacht and FAI com­pe­ti­tions and many other top­ics of in­ter­est.

From last sea­son only one club did not re­turn that was Bal­ly­gaw­ley Celtic while Cartron United and Joseph Ndo’s club JNDO Acad­emy teams will play at Mac Sharry Park.

The am­a­teur game is a fam­ily friendly sport and dis­ci­plinary will be strictly en­forced to in­sure it re­mains that way with re­spect for all of paramount im­por­tance.

Play­ers’ pre­vi­ous dis­ci­plinary records will be used in de­ter­min­ing any fu­ture ac­tions should they arise but un­der no cir­cum­stances will any form of un­sport­ing be­hav­iour be ac­cepted.

The leagues will kick of on the week­end of the 1st & 2nd of Septem­ber with 11am KO.

all games will be sched­uled for Sun­day morn­ing but games can and will be played where both clubs agree on Friday and Satur­day evenings.

How­ever, where pos­si­ble no games will be played that clash with our se­nior clubs fix­tures.

Best wishes were ex­tended to Raff Creatro for his Tes­ti­mo­nial Raff through­out his ca­reer has and con­tin­ues to be a great ex­am­ple to ev­ery young lo­cal player a lo­cal lad who has graced the play­ing fields all over Ire­land and fur­ther afield with skill and pas­sion we wish him well.

The first game prior to the start of the sea­son will fea­ture MCR FC v Car­bury FC Su­per & Premier League Cham­pi­ons Kick Off 7.45pm at the Show­grounds Sligo On Friday the 24th Au­gust for the Cleary Land­scapes & Pitch Main­te­nance Cup.
