FR KELLY IN CONCERT
Fr Ray Kelly, direct from Britain Got Talent fame will be in concert at Lissadell church on Friday, September 7, at 8 p.m. Tickets €20 available from Drumcliffe Teahouse, Grange Pharmacy, The Corner Shop Maugherow (Dunleaveys), Veritas Sligo or by calling 087 1655880. A unique and special concert not to be missed.
ST PATRICK’S CHURCH
Fr Michael Donnelly retired as Maugherow parish priest on Sunday, July 22, we wish him a future filled with great health and happiness. A Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in St Patrick’s Church at midday with a function in Maugherow Hall afterwards.
The parish council would like to thank everyone who helped made the day such a memorable occasion for Fr Michael, those who helped prepare the church, hall and surrounding areas, those who participated in the Mass, the ‘chauffeur’, the musicians in the hall, the bakers, cake makers and kitchen staff, the photographers and everyone who came along on the day.
A warm welcome is extended to Fr Hever, who has joined Maugherow Parish since Monday, July 23.

Following that there will be a social gathering with refreshments at Newtownmanor Hall at 4 p.m. All are welcome and anyone who wishes to bring a musical instrument and make music is more than welcome. Do not miss out, be there.
HALL BOOKINGS
Newtownmanor Hall is available for booking, by adult groups, wishing to organise an event or training. Hall costs are €15 per hour.
